[So, Dimitri got to meet Luisa's sister! That's nice! Not so nice when, you know, giant birds are happening, but... These things happen in Johto.]
[But Dimitri can see an emergency in plain sight, and so, with an idea in his head, he goes to contact Luisa.]
Luisa, it is Dimitri. I just saw your sister on the network - I do not know if you have seen her as well, but she has just arrived in New Bark Town.
It seems that those enormous Braviary are in that area as well, however. There are not many places to stay at in that area, and I do not know if perhaps that Braviary may have tried to make it their territory, either...
So I am going to send some of my companions to her, to get her out of the area as quickly as possible. I do not know where you are currently, but mine should be able to get her to Cherrygrove City safely enough.
I hope I am not overstepping my bounds, but... I want to help in any way that I can.
Oh, Dimitri! I’m actually just about to leave Cherrygrove to head back to New Bark Town and get her. But if you can send her something to help her, I can meet her along the way.
Absolutely. Fraldariend was in one of the coastal cities, and he is my Galarian Rapidash - a creature known for being incredibly fast thanks to use of their psychic abilities. He should be able to help cut down the journey by a good third, and then carry you back as well.
Do not overexert yourself, all right? The journey back to New Bark is still a good distance, and you need your full strength to help keep your sister safe.
It is nothing. I understand how it feels, even without such a worry about, to need to rush back for a loved one.
[Well, he needs to focus, instead of getting distracted. Give him a few moments to coordinate things with his Pokemon, and the people handling them...]
All right, it is settled. On the way to Cherrygrove, look for either a red hawk in the sky heading your way, or keep watch for a white steed with a long pastel mane on the path. Martlet is a Talonflame, and will be helping keep watch for more threats, and Fraldariend is a Galarian Rapidash, if you wish to look them in the Pokedex.
They will make sure you and your sister are reunited, I swear it.
Sometime after the festival, Luisa and Mirabel will be visited by a delivery Pidgey, bearing an envelope with a single note and two friendship bracelets. One features deep amethyst thread while the other is deep teal, but both are entwined with a light pink thread not unlike the marks on Allura's cheeks.
Dear Luisa and Mirabel,
I woke up with these under my pillow last night. Keith tells me they're “friendship bracelets,” and I have a feeling these two belong to you. Both of your are strong, brave, intelligent young ladies who are lucky to have each other, and I'm very grateful to know you both.
[ No matter what Mirabel herself says, she's always been the better sister. ]
Nothing big, I think. Probably just hang out with our Pokemon. Honestly, I've been spending so much time looking at houses, I wouldn't mind just taking it easy for a bit.
[ Her work in the Encanto was nothing compared to house hunting. ]
[There's a colorfully decorated box with a short message: "Merry Christmas, sis! Love, Mirabel". Inside the box is some pajamas tailored to Luisa, with little winter-themed Pokemon on it. They're very fuzzy, enough to keep her warm this winter.]
[All things considered, this situation isn't as bad as it could be. Here, Eda doesn't have to deal with Lily's obsessive preparations for the Emperor's Coven, nor does she have to worry about her mom trying to gut the Owl Beast curse out of her. In fact, the Owl Beast doesn't even seem to be with her right now. Yeah, not having her magic is a drag, but she's Eda Clawthorne! She'll figure out what's going on with that and fix it.
Plus, the food here? It kind of rules. Affording it, on the other hand... Well, Eda hasn't figured out what she has on the money front. Not snails, that's for sure. So what's a growing, hungry girl to do when she's too proud to beg off of adults? Swipe some eats from snack carts, that's what.
She's amassed a good collection of little cakes (one of 'em looks like a fish, which is fun) and snacky things on sticks and thanks to help from little bird buddy, she's only been caught once! Sure, she'd had to betray her own pride and actually do some begging at that point, but it had worked out. Now she's sitting on a bench, kicking her legs and enjoying her spoils.
The only problem is that said bird buddy seems to have developed a taste for scavenging, and now she's still bringing her stuff-- specifically, random garbage. Eda actually thinks garbage can be pretty cool, but right now she shoos the Pokemon off.]
[ Nearby, there's a slightly younger girl who is having a decidedly less good time than Eda is.
Luisa has no idea where she is or how she got here. She has no idea what the strange creatures here are, and even though the really big one with her turned out to be pretty friendly, it had still been a shock to find it following her around. It doesn't help that she can't seem to find any of her family, or that she seems to have somehow lost her Gift.
Weak, lost, and alone, Luisa is trying very hard not to get upset, all the while the dino-like creature beside her is doing his very best to comfort her. ]
[Wuh-oh, Eda isn't sure what to do when she spots the other kid, but she isn't going to just leave her alone and sad. So she heads over - carefully because the Pokemon she's with looks pretty tough even if it's being nice to the girl - with her own Pokemon following along, a crushed soda can in her beak.
Gwen is so confused. Why doesn't Eda want this now? She normally loves trash!
Eda clears her throat and holds out one of the snacks she grabbed: the fish-with-whiskers-shaped cake, because that one was funny to Eda; maybe it'll make this girl smile.]
[ The Tyranitar does appear to be pretty protective, but it doesn't move as Eda approaches other than to watch her carefully.
Luisa does startle at the sudden sound, unaware of the other girl's presence. Glancing between the cake and Eda, she looks about ready to decline the offering, but at the last minute reaches out and slowly takes it. ]
Gracias.
[ The word is spoken in a soft murmur, and even though she takes the cake she doesn't eat it immediately. ]

Your Friend, Allura
Text
Hey Allura! Thank you for the bracelets! Mira and I both love them, and I'm so glad for your friendship too!
Re: Text
You're very welcome, Luisa, I'm glad you like them. I didn't realize Jirachi had an artistic side.

Apparently so, at the very least symbolically. That's actually rather nice of Jirachi to go through all this trouble.
[Still, if Luisa wasn't sure about wishes being granted...]
May I ask if you or Mirabel experienced anything similar?

Hey, thanks! And there's no way you would have known about it, so don't worry about that. I would've forgotten myself if it wasn't for Mira.

You're lucky to have a sister like that. Are you guys doing anything to celebrate?

I am. Mirabel's the best.
